Privacy Policy

This page explains what information BASEFIL collects from visitors to this pre-launch website, why we collect it, and what choices you have. Plain English, no legal jargon where it can be avoided.

Who we are

BASEFIL is a pre-launch personalized supplement brand targeting the United States market. The site is operated by Kyne Skin Ltd, a UK-registered company building BASEFIL for US launch. For privacy questions or data requests, contact hello@basefil.com.

What we collect

When you complete the personalization quiz and reserve your spot on the waitlist, we collect:

We do not collect your name, mailing address, payment information, Social Security number, or any government-issued identifiers at this stage. We do not collect biometric data, geolocation, or device identifiers.

How we use your information

We use your email address to notify you when BASEFIL opens for orders and to send pre-launch updates if you opted in. We use your quiz answers and computed stack to understand demand, refine our formulation, and prepare your personalized recommendation for launch.

How long we keep it

We retain your information until BASEFIL launches plus a reasonable buffer (estimated 12 months from your submission). After launch, if you do not become a customer, we will delete your data on request or within 18 months, whichever comes first.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are processed through Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a third-party form-handling service that delivers your submission to our inbox. Web3Forms acts as our service provider and is contractually limited to processing your data on our behalf. Their privacy policy is available at web3forms.com/privacy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not pass it to other companies for their marketing purposes. We do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising as those terms are defined under California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or Texas state privacy laws.

Your rights under US state privacy laws

If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, or any other US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@basefil.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us which right you wish to exercise. We will verify your identity by confirming the email address matches our records and respond within 45 days as required by California law.

California Shine the Light: California Civil Code §1798.83 gives California residents the right to request a list of third parties to whom we have disclosed personal information for direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year. We do not share information for third-party direct marketing.

"Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information": We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is nothing to opt out of, but if you wish to formally register a no-sale preference, email us at the address above.

Email communications

Per the federal CAN-SPAM Act, every commercial email we send will include a clear unsubscribe link, our business identity, and a valid postal address. You can unsubscribe at any time and we will stop sending commercial messages to your email within 10 business days as required by law.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We use the browser's local storage to keep a backup copy of your form submission on your own device, in case the network request fails. This data never leaves your browser. We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers. The site does not respond to Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals because we have nothing to opt you out of, but we will honor any GPC signal as a confirmation of no-sale preference.

Children

BASEFIL is intended for adults aged 18 and older. The personalization quiz excludes anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection. We follow standard web security practices including content-type sniffing protection, frame-blocking, a strict referrer policy, and HTTP Strict Transport Security. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the date below. Material changes affecting waitlist members will be communicated by email.
